What makes Animation Focus different?
There are a ton of great animation programs out there, online and in person - we know because we attended some of them! We continue to recommend them to students who approach us with questions about where to learn and what courses to take.
Animation Focus was designed as a top-up to your current animation skill level and expertise. You spend 1 hour a week for 4 weeks with a personal tutor focusing entirely on the area you want to improve. Every tutor is a professional feature film animator who has most likely struggled with the same things you are struggling with. We deliberately keep the class size small (it’s just you!) - the course length short (just four weeks!) - and the class time focused (one whole hour to talk about your work!)

Animation Focus tutors are all professional character animators, Animation Directors and Animation Supervisors with many years of experience working at the top level of the feature film industry.

Your workspace
Animation Focus provides each student a Syncsketch workspace with folders for each week of class. Drop in your most recent recording and you and your tutor will watch it together. You will be able to see the tutor scrub the timeline, sketch pose ideas and type notes to you - live and in sync!
